In 2019, Blue began working as a teaching artist for Root Branch Media Group. A year later, Blue was promoted to Assistant Studio Director and Production Coordinator, producing media for high-profile clientele, such as the Baltimore Mayor’s Office, Ballet After Dark, and the popular youth arts organization, Arts 4 Learning. Later that Summer, Blue interned for the AfriKan Youth Alchemy and traveled to Ghana for The Year of Return ceremony. There, she visited every region capturing the history of the villages through film and photography. Through AYA, Blue met world-renowned photographer Schaun Champion. Soon after, they developed a great working relationship, and Blue became her photo assistant. Blue has shot photography and created set designs for publications such as The New York Times, Flaunt Magazine (Camrus J.), and People Magazine (Hilton Carter) with Schaun.
